• Calling all MR2s .... AW11s, SW20s and ZZW30s ...... stock, tuned and modified.
  
  As you know the MR2 Owners' Club of Australia (VIC Branch) Inc. is putting on a Club display in Federation Square (Flinders Street side) on Sunday 27th January 2008, 10.30 in the morning to set up till around 3.30 in the afternoon.
  
  Meet: 10.30am at the Russell Street Extension (corner Flinders Street and Federation Square buildings)
  
  Prior to 11.00am we will be directed to drive along Flinders Street toward Flinders Street Station and turn left over the footpath into the Display area. (the bollards will be removed for us to gain access)
  
  Lunch will be either BYO picnic everything, (chairs and all) or purchase take away from the many eating establishments close by.
  
  The MR2s will be parked until 3.00pm when we will be directed back onto Flinders Street.   It is requested that you do not remove your MR2 prior.
  
  Many thanks to all those who have already submitted an "Expression of Interest" however as there is enough room for more cars we should be able to cater for everyone who wants to be part of the day.

  In Die Hard 4.0 the terrorists first target is the Traffic Management Centre. In the Italian Job the Traffic Management Centre is also used. Get your chance to see how the traffic is really managed in a tour of the VicRoads Traffic Management Centre. This centre has world leading technology and is the real 'Big Brother' of our roads.

• After this tour we shall be heading to King Lake to enjoy the great roads, and coming back around to have Lunch at the great Warrandyte Pub.  Don't miss out on this one.

Annual Brass Monkey Run

This year's Brass Monkey Run, will feature outstanding and picturesque scenery.

• Date: 24th June 2007.
• Time: 9.00am for morning tea.

Start: 7 Cocos Court Patterson Lakes, (Melway Ref 97 F9) for morning tea
before we head out for a very interesting day - ending in an enjoyable lunch
on the Mornington Peninsula at approximately 12.30pm.

The run will be approx 77 km, from Patterson Lakes through to Mornington
Peninsula. There will be three fantastic photo opportunities so bring your
camera.

We have already booked the Lunch venue which offers an affordable Sunday
Special, a choice of roast with sweets and a complimentary beer, wine or
soft drink or you can order from the menu.

us at the lunch venue just email Dawni for details. dawn@savagehomes.com.au

We will need to have some sort of idea of numbers for the day so I can cater
for the morning tea, please hit the reply button with how many are attending.

• MEET:  Maccas, Hampton Park, end of the Monash freeway, start of South Gippsland Hwy.
• TIME:  10.00am for coffee, 10:30am to meet for 11:00 am start.
• BRING:  Your MR2, a passenger, a Picnic Lunch to eat on the foreshore, BYO picnic, chairs, picnic rug, drinks or buy from the gourmet Fish n Chip shop nearby.

• Location: 7 Cocos Court Patterson Lakes (Melway Map 97 F8)
• Time: 11.00am
• What to bring:  A fun Xmas gift to the value of $10.00 to be placed in the Santa Sack

• MEET: at MacDonalds Western Ring Road outbound. (Melway Map 40 B5)
• TIME: 10:00am to depart at 10:30am. Earlier if you want Breaky!!

We shall be making our way down to Mt. Macedon via scenic route for our first stop.  Re-group, look at the view then head off to Woodend for a Pub Lunch.
