  • Continue cruise to Corin Dam, Orroral Valley
  • Return to Canberra by 5pm

Overview

Year 2007 is the year to celebrate 20 years of MR2s in Australia. Back in 1987, the first batch of AW11 MR2s were delivered to Australia. It was the beginning for Australians to enjoy the thrills of driving an affordable mid-engined sports car. The car was designed with the help of Lotus engineers to create a nimble and superior handling sports car, ideal for driving on curvy mountain roads and the event organisers know that very well.

Canberra is surrounded by mountains and has some of the best mountain roads in Australia. The "Brindabella Hairpins" which is located in rural ACT, is a winding mountain road that has some great scenic views, often enjoyed by motorists. It lies along the Namadgi National Parks which includes various ACT tourist attractions. Including:
